Confidence

Gok Wan is such a great stylist as he picks out the best features in his models and focuses on these points giving his models inner confidence and therefore enhances their performance.  Confidence is the key to success and to looking great.  A confident model will deliver great pictures, a confident woman will win the attention of men and a confident woman will win the interview.  So the key is to focus on your best features and this will make you feel more confident about yourself.  Cheryl Cole is the ultimate confident women which is why so many women aspire to be like her.

Be Friendly

A successful model is a nice person and she helps the people she works with.  Being friendly and kind to others helps bring out your beauty as people like you and see you in a more attractive light.  When you meet people make sure you are warm to them and smile and they will see you and remember your best features.  If you are sulking or moody then you will appear less attractive than you actually are.  Smiling will also help make you feel better about yourself.  Cheryl Cole is liked by woman and desired by men partly due to her constant smile which she still manages even in times of adversity.

Breast Enhancers

Breast enhancers which are also known as chicken fillets have become the latest trend to help increase your bust size.  Trinny Woodhall is a promoter of them, and these ’silicone must haves’ are probably the most common trick in a model’s work.  On Catherine’s first modelling job, Gok Wan introduced Catherine to chicken fillets to help enhance her bust and provide a more womanly curve to her body. 

Having the Secret Bra

Catherine always takes an adhesive bra on modelling jobs.  The backless and strapless bra means that models can always wear a bra with whatever outfit is given to them.  Often on fashion shoots you are modelling tops and dresses that do not allow you to have any bra straps on show.  The silicone adhesive bra provides extra padding to your breasts and is a great solution to wear with strapless and backless tops.  The adhesive bras also help to lift your bust and keep the desirable rounded shape.  Catherine’s top tip for those that are small busted is to wear the adhesive bra under a strapless bra to help make your bust look bigger.

False Eyelashes

False eyelashes are the key to instantly having longer lashes which in return accentuate your eyes.  Celebrity makeup artist Alex Jones is a massive fan of false eyelashes and regularly uses them on her clients for a more glamorous look.  Mascara adverts always have models wearing false eyelashes or lash extensions as it helps make the models eye and the mascara look more dramatic and powerful.  False eyelashes are a simple and inexpensive solution to making an instant difference to your look and makeup. 

Eat the Right Foods

If you eat the right foods you have more energy and feel better about yourself.  Bingeing out on sugar and high fatty foods will leave you feeling lethargic and miserable.  If you eat a healthy meal the night before a modelling job i.e., vegetables, salmon and new potatoes you will wake up the next day feeling high on energy and alert and as a result you will work hard and well.  If you regularly eat and drink a whole oily pizza washed down with a bottle of Coke then you are probably going to wake up feeling greasy, spotty and bloated.  Or, if you have starved yourself you are going to feel weak and lack concentration, so it is vital you eat healthy and correctly.
